Love Your Mother
I just wanted to tell you how much I love you.
I know I don’t tell you enough in a day but you are the most precious thing in my life.
You’re so beautiful the way you smile up at me.
Sometimes I don’t know what I did to deserve you.
I know that I yell a lot and its not really you.
It’s really hard to be in my shoes.
I want to raise you right.
I want you to be kind and compassionate.
I want for you to be strong and independent.
Most of all I want you to be you.
I’m sorry if I don’t always do things right.
I’m sorry if I make you sad sometimes.
I’m sorry that I don’t spend enough time in the day with you.
You really are my world you know.
When you’re sleeping late at night I go in and kiss your forehead to say sleep tight.
You look so calm and peaceful I wish I was that way for you all the time.
So my dearest baby girl just know that your mother really does love you so.
With all my love your mother.

This was written for my daughter. She is almost two and these are many things that I feel but I know she won't understand until she gets older.
